First anniversary of India-UAE CEPA implementation
The India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) has had a significant impact on bilateral trade between the two countries since it came into force in May 2022.
The total value of bilateral trade in goods is expected to exceed USD 100 billion and trade in services to exceed USD 15 billion within five years.
India-UAE Trade Relations:
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is India’s third largest trading partner after the United States and China with a bilateral trade turnover of USD 68 billion in 2021. UAE is also the 7th largest investor in India.
