What is IBPS?
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, popularly known as IBPS is an autonomous body that conducts recruitment examinations for all Public Sector Banks (PSBs) except SBI. Over the years, the institute has provided services related to assessment and testing for different banks through various exams. The institute was constituted in 1984 and is governed by the board of nominees from different government bodies and banks such as RBI, Ministry of Finance, NIBM, IBA, etc. In the same year, the centralised examinations covering all public sector banks started on a limited scale. The process of conducting the exams online started in late 2000. IBPS exams are conducted to recruit employees for PSBs at various levels such as Probationary Officers, Clerks and Specialist Officers. This article has discussed various IBPS exams in India.

Overview of IBPS Syllabus
IBPS syllabus for PO, Clerk and RRB is almost the same. However, there is a slight difference in the syllabus for IBPS SO.
The syllabus of IBPS basically covers topics from the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, Computer Aptitude. The standard of IBPS syllabus is of high school and graduation levels. The syllabus for these subjects are given below:
