What is NEET?
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary and other medical/paramedical courses in India. Conducted annually, NEET 2020 will be held across tentatively 154 test centres. With approximately 16 lakh test-takers, NEET is the most important medical entrance examination in India. Both AIIMS and JIPMER MBBS examinations have also been merged with NTA NEET.
NEET 2020 will be conducted on September 13. While the NEET admit card UG was also scheduled to be released on May 27 has also been postponed until the lockdown. The question paper will comprise of 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology and Botany). In order to reap the most of out of it, candidates are advised to begin their preparations from syllabus of NEET from a very early stage, so that they are thorough with everything. The questions asked in the national level medical entrance examination will be based on the given NEET 2020 syllabus. While studying, it is wise to prepare on the lines of the actual exam paper.
